On my first try I got 100 words/minute with one typo and on the second I got 92 words/minute with two typos. My best with this sentence was 80 wpm (albeit with no typos). To be fair: This sentence seems especially easy, with other excercise I only got to about 60 wpm. According to this ( http://koti.mbnet.fi/~gkos/gkoscom/gkos-typing-speed.html ) comparison, this still qualifies as “expert”, however 😉 It’s not my usual typing speed but I can do that when I want to. Sometimes I cannot think quite as fast what I want to write and that’s when weird things happen …. The keyboard gets pretty loud when you type that fast and I think it must be pretty annoying for my office mate. Another minus is: one always know when I am not working, because I never type that fast when I write code 😉 Comments are closed.
