Schizoid Tools

I am currently running pmd over my code and in the wake of doing that I enabled a few of the stricter coding rules of eclipse again. Now eclipse tells me that “unqualified access of variables” is not okay anylonger. I corrected all those until I noticed that most of the fixes I was doing were in auto-generated eclipse getter methods. I think I am going to have a good long talk with my eclipse about this.

To tell you pmd is not much better but at least pmd has a point. First it argues that every class should have a constructor and then it says: “Hey you know the constructor public MyTool(){} would have been added by the compiler anyway.” Maybe pmd wants to tell me that classes that do not need a constructor should be something different???
